About Fair & Square
One day I needed a job. At the time I had about ten years of building experience, a truck, a trailer, and some tools, so I advertised that and got a phone call. To move a piano. Not really what I had in mind, but I did learn plenty about moving pianos that day!
Since then we've learned quite a bit about how to take care of a home, and we have had the opportunity to provide service for many amazing home owners in Washtenaw county and beyond. Our only goal is to continue to grow and become a better solution for home owners as we do it.

Project Manager
Tyler Allum
Tyler is our point man on most projects and plays a vital role in keeping everything moving forward. After graduating with a Bio-Chemistry degree from EMU, Tyler spent more than 10 years in residential services working from renovation crew through project management. He brings a very strong work ethic to the team and we're happy we have him. Tyler is also a great dad to two little, yet energetic girls that keep him on his toes most of the time he's not working.

Hunter Firestone
Hunter is a highly skilled carpenter with 10 years of hands-on experience in residential projects, specializing in a wide variety of carpentry and finishing work. Hunter is a Farmington native and avid hockey player when he's not on the job. He is also a dedicated family man who values the simple life, while he brings steady craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail to every project.

Chris leads the charge at Fair & Square and has spent the last 8 years involved in every facet of our projects. After active duty in the Marine Corps Infantry, Chris spent his next 10 years in contracting, working for the largest building maintenance franchisor in the world, ending his career as the VP of Sales for an 8 state region on the west coast. Chris started his residential construction career with a home builder in Ann Arbor and soon realized there's a better way to delivery quality. When he's not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid Detroit sports fan.
